Content customers can read
Decide whether a screen is attracting attention at the entrance, explaining a product or communicating at a service point. Position, brightness and text size should fit that specific job.

A retail installation has to work through opening hours, promotional changes and staff handovers. We start with the message at each display and the listening conditions in each area, then plan the equipment and update process around store operations.
Decide whether a screen is attracting attention at the entrance, explaining a product or communicating at a service point. Position, brightness and text size should fit that specific job.
Music coverage should suit the shop floor without making consultation or checkout conversations harder. Separate staff areas or departments where independent control is useful.
Identify who prepares media, approves it and schedules changes. A playback device is only part of the system; content ownership and access are part of a workable installation.
An illustrative room & zone plan
Use this as a starting point for a site discussion. It is an example planning schedule, not a completed project or a prescribed equipment package.
| Area | System requirement | How it is operated |
|---|---|---|
| Entrance and promotion point | Visible campaign content. | An approved publishing schedule. |
| Sales floor | Background music and selected product screens. | Store-level controls with agreed limits. |
| Consultation area | Clear conversation and optional presentation content. | Independent sound adjustment where needed. |
| Service or checkout | Customer information and accessibility needs. | Simple staff operation and support checks. |

Survey, installation & handover
We coordinate work around trading and stock movements, consider access above fitted ceilings and agree how cabling can be concealed. Screens and speakers should remain serviceable after merchandising changes. The audio specification also needs to account for ventilation noise and the finishes used throughout the store.
At handover, the agreed operating tasks are demonstrated with the venue’s actual sources and controls. We discuss the documentation and support arrangements needed to keep those tasks manageable after installation.
Our installation process ›Your questions
A suitable CMS can support a wider estate, but accounts, publishing permissions, connectivity and ongoing services need to be agreed. The initial hardware scope should not imply a managed content service unless it is included.
That depends on the player, CMS and content type. We define the expected offline behaviour and test it where it is part of the requirement.
We review that with the responsible IT team. Network access, security policies and support ownership are confirmed before installation.
